Summary
Dr. Caputo completed her PhD at Rhodes University focusing her doctoral research on the population and trophic ecology of coastal dolphins off a remote stretch of coast in South Africa’s Eastern Cape. Her current research includes investigating the conservation status of endangered coastal dolphins in the waters off Nosy Be, Madagascar and understanding the trophic ecology of marine megafauna in a variety of systems. Her broad research goal is to use both field and laboratory based methods to better understand the ecological roles of marine megafauna.
